Our specialists have access to various environmental and spatial data, along with knowledge of Florida's ecology and federal, state, and local regulations, warranting that our clients receive the most accurate information and quality consultation on any necessary actions.

A first step in the due diligence process that is aimed to document biological and environmental conditions/constraints and feasibility within a study area/project site.  An ECA is the examination of a project sites current and historic conditions/permits for the occurrence of wetland and other waters of the U.S. and for the occurrence, or potential occurrence, of flora and fauna listed as threatened, endangered, or as species of special concern (SSC) by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and Florida Department of Agriculture (FDA).

This process involves a site and area examination, aerial imagery, soils data review, and national wetland inventory review within the property site.   ECS provides high-quality and detailed ECA reports, and illustrative maps created by our environmental and GIS specialists. The ECA does not involve sampling and analyses of soil, groundwater, surface water, or air.

An ECA usually takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks to complete. Depending on the location, size, and complexity of the sites history and uses.
